John 11:39-44
38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone [a]from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
There is nothing impossible with our God according to Matthew 19:26.
This was the story of Lazarus who was dead and buried and after four full days the resurrection and the life brought him back to life.
Lazarus’ sister Martha confirmed that by now he will be smelling.
Martha was speaking the truth according to men, but not to the unchangeable changer the God of all impossibilities.
In Ezekiel 37, God asked the prophet if the dead dry bones can live. The prophet’s faith cannot handle this, hence the reply “Only You, God, knows”.
1 Corinthians 1:19 says the Lord will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. If the Lord has not written you off no one can. I decree in the name above all names you will fulfil purpose of God!
Trust in the Lord even if the circumstances look bleak, look to God who is able to do exceedingly more than we ask or think.
Jesus said in vs. 42 – 43
42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
Brethren, how much time do you spend studying the word of God, praying and regularly fasting? Jesus said that some challenges will not go except by prayer and fasting. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Elisha in 2 Kings 7:1-2 decreed, despite the serious and devastating famine at the time, that food will be in abundance the following day at the gate of Samaria and it happened as the man of God had decreed. When God speaks, it is done. No one can write you off if God has not finished with you. Do not ever lose hope, you are more than a conqueror. Joseph’s brothers tried and failed, the other presidents’ conspiracy in the time of Daniel failed and King Saul’s plan to kill David failed. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.
Finally, Jesus said loose him. Loose him from the bondage of grave cloths.
Isaiah 49:24-26
24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty,
Or the captives of the righteous be delivered? 25 But thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away,
And the prey of the terrible be delivered;
For I will contend with him who contends with you,
And I will save your children.
26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh,
And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine.
All flesh shall know That I, the Lord, am your Saviour,
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob
I pray for you as you read this message that anything that is holding you down are destroyed in Jesus name.
Lamentation 3:37
37Who is he that saith and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commanded it not.
Any negative pronunciations against you will not succeed. Do you have Jesus as you Lord and Saviour? Give your life to him and he will take care of your adversaries.
God be with you
