Mark 8:22-26
22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.
There are 5 senses to every living thing.
Sight, hearing, taste (mouth), smell (nose) and touch (hand)
Out of all these, touch is the most intimate.
We all need a second and continuous touch of God.
Through touch anointing can be transferred or reversed, be careful of who lays hands on you.
In Jeremiah 1:4-9, despite Jeremiah’s anointing from the womb he required a second touch of God to be able to fulfil his destiny.
The blind man in Mark 8:22-26 was not born blind. He saw people like trees after the first touch, meaning he was seeing before his blindness (unless how would he know what trees look like). The Lord will open your eyes of understanding, any form of darkness and obscure vision will disappear.
The man would have lived his life in total darkness and poverty if not for the Great Healer. I pray that whatever wants to derail God’s purposes for your life will be destroyed in Jesus name.
Another point is that he got the right people to guide him in the right direction.
Proverbs 13:20 says ‘He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.’
The people you associate with may determine your success or failure in life. Move away from people that do not add positive value to your life.
The man went away totally healed. The Lord will touch and heal you spiritually, physically, mentally and financially.
This man was brought to Jesus. Since you gave your life to the Lord, how many people have you brought to the Lord or spoken to about the saving grace of God?
Psalm 119:105 says that ‘Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.’
Let the word of God be your guide and continue to pray without ceasing.
Acts 4:12 says ‘Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.’
If you are reading this message and you have not given your life to Jesus, who is the only one that can destroy darkness and bring light to your life, receive Him today because there is no other name that can save except Jesus.
The bible says that in His name every knee must bow.
Call on Him today and He is faithful to save.
God be with you.
