Text: Psalm 102:13
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
Favour is an act of goodwill, generosity and mercy.
Time however is an interval separating two points or a duration. Time of favour therefore, is the appointed period between promise and manifestation.
In Genesis 21:1-3
And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.
The promise of over 25years was actualised.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
You will not miss you time of divine visitation in Jesus name.
When the time of God’s favour comes no one can stop it.
God can even use your enemy to catapult you to your divine destiny.
The brothers of Joseph taught they have got rid of him, but they help accelerated him to his destiny.
The enemies of Daniel not only got him promoted, they were all eating by lions for there conspiracies.
In 2 Samuel 6:1-12, David was afraid of taking the Ark of covenant home and left it in the house of Odebedom.
Unknown to David it was the time of Obededom’s favour.
However you must continually live in righteousness according to psalm 5:12 – For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
If Joseph and Daniel were living a sinful lives, they might have missed there blessings.
Your action and reaction may also guarantee or cause you to miss the time of your favour.
1 Samuel 1:9-20 – Hannah went to the altar to pour out her to the Lord but was mistaken for a drunkard by the priest. Hannah did not respond negatively and she got her miracle.
You will not miss your hour of miracle.
You must give your life to the Jesus and be committed to serving him. The Lord will grant you extraordinary grace to know him more.
Please pray that in this month of the time of favour, the Lord will grant you ideas that will change the course of your live to fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.
